Hey there! Happy Supermassive Wednesday!
Today, the 2023 edition of our 50-page superhero team-up special hits stands. Written by myself, Ryan Parrott, Melissa Flores and Mat Groom and featuring stunning art by Daniele Di Nucolo and Walter Baiamonte, this adventure finds our heroes in some very unique places, but coming together once again for the modern myth quest: the search for the Holy Grail.
If you’ve followed Radiant Black, Rogue Sun and/or The Dead Lucky at all this past year, then it won’t surprise you to hear that each book has just hit some really interesting new status quos, just in time for this special. Which meant, in order to pull off this 50 pager, we had to start writing the script back in August 2022— many months before any of us had hit these beats in our series.
This is a trick that happens a lot in modern superhero comics— writing for status quos and arcs out of order due to schedule, artist availability, etc. Fortunately, we all have quite a bit of experience doing this and we’re all very proud of how this one works, what it shows about each character, and where everyone lands in their arc.
I’m also thrilled to report that even if you haven’t followed the books, you can still pick this one-shot up and not only will it make sense, it tells a full story. Everything you need to know to enjoy it, you’ll learn in the book.

Radiant Pink #5 - 05/24/23
Also on stands today is our miniseries finale for Radiant Pink! Eva and Kelly have made it back to Earth but now as Kelly cements herself more firmly in Eva’s life things… have gotten complicated.
This issue wraps in a really powerful way. Big thanks to Meghan Camarena and Melissa Flores for writing something so special and Emma Kubert, Rebecca Nalty and Becca Carey for bringing it all to life.
Can’t wait to see where Eva pops up next! I’m sure there will be a catalyst for her soon.

Deep Cuts #2 - 05/31/23
Outside of the Massive-Verse, Deep Cuts #2 debuts next week. It’s the second story in our six issue prestige music odyssey, from Joe Clark, myself, Helena Masellis, Igor Monti and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.
This month, it’s 1928 New York and Chicago, following singer/songwriter/musician Gail Geldstein as she tries to save her first broadway show.
This issue also has something special in store for readers because as a companion piece to Gail’s musical quest, Joe put this together…

Final Order Cutoff
Rogue Sun 13- 05/29/23
Final order cutoff on Rogue Sun #13 is this Monday. It’s the first issue after Supermassive 2023… and if you think Dylan’s dynamic with Caleb was complicated in Supermassive… just you wait. Ryan and Abel are taking this book in some wild directions and I can’t wait.
This month, we also have a B cover— the first in our line of villain-centric pieces! First up is Suave, by Federico Sabbatini with Mafuriah.

And speaking of Supermassive, we’re doing a reprint of last year’s special, Supermassive 2022!
Final order cutoff for this is also on Monday. This edition won’t be perfect bound and it will be on thinner paper but it will also cost just $4.99 and is filled with back matter on The Massive-Verse, including series breakdowns like these. It’s a 64 page Massive-Verse sampler that’s perfect to hand to someone cold.
The Black Market
Don’t worry, no big new drops today. But I thought I’d highlight a few things that we added to the store over the last few weeks.
We still have copies of our Radiant Black #24 Jim Mahfood Blacklight Edition! We don’t have any plans to reprint the fluorescent version of Radiant Black #24 so if you missed it, this is your chance to grab one.
We also have some packages available that include copies of our out of print blacklight edition of issue 10 and our Black Market Issue 10 Blacklight edition.
Plus, we still have some copies of our exclusive, small run variants for NO/ONE. They’re available in both signed and un-signed versions.
